Georgeous Bed and Breakfast located close to Snowshoe Mountain Resort, Cass Scenic Railroad, Durbin Rocket, Cheat Mountain Salamander, Tygart Flyer, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, Greenbrier River Trail, Cranberry Glades Wilderness Area, Trout fishing on the Williams and Elk Rivers, Raven Golf Course and all of the other scenic possibilities that Pocahontas County, West Virginia has to offer. Hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, golf, horseback riding, bird watching, star gazing, wilderness exploration and more is all available here the mountains.
Morning Glory Inn has won awards for its breakfasts as well as for its warm, compitent service. The six guest rooms are all large and well appointed. All of the beds are either Queen or King sized. All of the rooms have private baths with whirpool tubs (except one that just has a shower). One room has its own entrance and can accomodate a couple with a pet.
Winter activities mostly revolve around Snowshoe Mountain Resort. There is something for everyone. Skiing, Snowboarding (including great terrain parks), Sliegh Rides, Snow-Cat Rides, Snowshoeing, Cross-Country Skiing, Tubing, Hot Tubs, Dining, Dancing and more for all ages.
The summer is loaded with things to do. Railroading, hiking and biking, motorcyle rallys, golfing and fishing. Snowshoe Resort host many summer events such as Chili Cookoff, Fourth of July, Memorial Day and Labor Day festivities, Symphany Weekend, Blues and Brews, Wine and Jazz Fest, Oktoberfest, and several Motorcycle rallys.
