The Guest House & Cottage
This charming century old home features original hardwood floors, vintage clawfoot tub, and stained glass window with the comfort and convenience of present day amenities.
Tasteful landscaping, colorful gardens and a quiet fountain welcome you to the inviting front porch.
Newly decorated, the living room and dining room encourage you to come in and relax.
The well appointed, spacious kitchen has everything you need; microwave, diswasher, dishes, glassware, tableware, pots and pans, crockpot for those easy meals that simmer while you sightsee.
Coffee, assorted teas and individual bottled water is provided for our guests' enjoyment.
The sunroom is the perfect place to relax. The trundle bed provides sleeping for two in separate beds. The attractive attached bath has laundry facility closeby.
Upstairs a quiet reading area is a favorite place of many to enjoy a favorite book.
A variey of magazines/books are available for our guests use.
Two newly decorated bedrooms promise an enjoyable night sleep.
The Greenbriar Room features antique furniture and luxurious bedding on the queen size bed.
The Garden Room welcomes you with the look and feel of a garden. A vintage, carved double bed features a pastel hand-pieced quilt. A handcrafted cottage bench and white wicker accessories add additional charm.
We provide quality bedding.
The original clawfoot tub is featured in the upstairs bathroom. Spacious, light and bright - a nice way to begin your morning.
Central heating and A/C assure your comfort.
A BBQ and firepit provide for outdoor cooking.
For the more adventurous there are many choices.
Area antique shops, yard sales, & flea markets offer good 'hunting'.
Some of the greatest outdoor recreation and scenery in the state await you.
Our scenic rivers and Summit Lake offer the best trout fishing in WV, stocked regularly for a sure catch.
Like to 'ride the river' in a kayak? This is the place!
Enjoy our pure, clean air as you hike nature paths, visit the spectacular Falls of Hills Creek or cycle the quiet mountain trails and roads.
At Cranberry Glades, enjoy a peaceful stroll along the boardwalk through our nation's southernmost cranberry bog. You may even see one of our black bears and her cubs as they forage for their favorite berries and herbs in the glades.
The Monongahela National Forest, beautiful falls and scenic drive offer spectacular vistas of the beautiful WV countryside.
Cherry Hills Golf Course, situated atop picturesque Hinkle Mountain, offers real golfing pleasure. Enjoy lunch in the Clubhouse overlooking the green.
Many other area attractions are just a short distance away. For history buffs, Civil War sites are numerous.
